Mr. Ball called the January Board of Commissioners meeting of WCUD to order at 10:06.m. at the district office 3625 Lindsey Mill Road, Gatlinburg.

Oath of Office was given to Mr. Vick by Mrs. Carver. Mr. Vick was appointed by the County Mayor for a four year term expiring December 31,2012. Copy of Oath of Office Attached.

Board of Commissioners duties were discussed Mr. Ball made a motion to leave the duties as is, seconded by Mr. Conner and passed. Mr. Vick, President; Mr. Conner, Vice President; and Mr. Ball, Secretary.

Motion to approve agenda made by Mr. Ball seconded by Mr. Conner and passed.

Motion to approve Decemberr 2008 Board of Commissioners meeting minutes and November 2008 financial report made by Mr. Ball, seconded by Mr. Conner and passed.

Outdoor Resorts of America was not present.

Mr. Vick stated the Board of Commissioners had a hearing scheduled with Utility Management Review Board February 5, 2008 regarding Outdoor Resorts of America..

Mr. McGill was not present.

Mr. Sunstein reported the water loss for the month of December was 21% 653,705 gallons, two leaks were located and repaired also end of year flushing was preformed during the month.

Motion was made by Mr. Vick that any commissioner, the district manager or office manager attend the Legislative Conference in Nashville, seconded by Mr. Ball and passed.

Mr. Vick thanked Mr. Ball and Mr. Conner for their confidence in performing the duties of President of Webb Creek Utility District Board of Commissioners.

Mr. Conner had no official report.

Mr. Ball suggested the district have a policy and procedure workshop during the month of March 2009, commissioners concurred.

Under unfinished business Mr. Vick questioned if there had been any activity on the Pinnacle View Subdivision. Mr. Sunstein stated with the recent holidays there hasn’t been any activity.

Mr. Sunstein stated the district is looking forward to a good working relationship with the new fire chief of Pittman Center Volunteer Fire Department Jeff Nichols.

Motion to adjourn meeting by Mr. Ball, seconded by Mr. Conner and passed at 10:23 a.m.
