Mr. Vick called the June Board of Commissioners meeting of WCUD to order at 10:00a.m. at the district office 3625 Lindsey Mill Road, Gatlinburg.

Motion to approve agenda made by Mr. Ball seconded by Mr. Conner and passed.

Motion to approve May 2009 Board of Commissioners meeting minutes and April 2009 financial report made by Mr. Ball, seconded by Mr. Conner and passed.

Mr. Seagle of ORA thanked Mr. Ford for assisting with locating two leaks at ORA. The leaks have been repaired. Mr. Seagle questioned about the rate study how is it progressing and does the district need any assistance from ORA. Mr. McGill stated the rate study is moving along and the district has all the data from the flow meter at ORA. He also requested a copy of the 2008 audit, Ms. Carver gave Mr. Seagle three copies of the districts 2008 audit.

Mr. Vick read a letter from Ms. Joyce Welborn dated May 28, 2009. Copy of letter on file in district office.

Mr. Franklin presented the 2008 audit to the Board of Commissioners for review and approval. After a brief discussion Mr. Ball made a motion to approve the 2008 audit as presented by Mr. Franklin, motion was seconded by Mr. Conner and passed. Copy of audit on file in district office.

Mr. McGill had no official report.

Ms. Carver, reported the water loss for the month of May 11%, 332,990 gallons. ORA flow for May 2009 was 356,906 gallons.

Ms. Carver had no official report.

Mr. Vick questioned Mr. Ford if the sewer line on Lindsey Mill Road, has been repaired? Mr. Ford stated yes the work was completed.

A letter, map and cost estimate was sent to property owners in Pinnacle View located on a portion of Pinnacle Vista Road, Coyote Road and Whippoorwill Ridge Road. Copy of letter on file in district office.

Mr. McGill to obtain a cost estimate for inspection of the 300,000 gallon water storage tank.

The 68,000 gallon water storage tank land issues will be addressed after the rate study has been completed.

Mr. Conner had no official report.

Mr. Ball stated that Jeff Nichols Pittman Center Volunteer Fire Department Chief was interviewed by the Mountain Press and stated district employees were extremely helpful during the recent fires in Cobbly Nob.

Motion to adjourn meeting by Mr. Ball, seconded by Mr. Conner and passed at 10:43 a.m.
