Mr. Vick called the April Board of Commissioners meeting of WCUD to order at 10:02 a.m. at the district office 3625 Lindsey Mill Road, Gatlinburg.

Motion to approve agenda made by Mr. Ball seconded by Mr. Conner and passed.

Motion to approve March 2010 Board of Commissioners meeting minutes and February 2010 financial report made by Mr. Ball, seconded by Mr. Conner and passed.

Outdoor Resorts of America was not present.

Ms. Carver stated the district had 25% water loss, 682,000 gallons for the month of March 2010.  Three leaks were located and repaired the leak.

Outdoor Resorts of America discharged 620,840 gallons of wastewater into the system during the month of March 2010.

Mr. Ford is working on the new meter readings, he is to get Garry McGill of McGill and Associates and Mr. Tim Kazmier owner of Kazmier & Associates, Inc. to assist with calibrating the meter.

Mr. Greg Simcox of Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation asked Ms. Carver to convey to the Board of Commissioners the district has an outstanding staff that does anything quickly as requested by them regarding the Sanitary Survey and the district earned the 100% as given on the survey.

Tennessee Association of Utility Districts released a press release to the Knoxville News Sentinel and The Mountain Press regarding the district winning the Regional Competition for Best Discharge Water in the Region.  Copy of ad on file in district office.

Barnes Insurance will be renewed for 2010 as presented at the cost of $24,521.00.

2009 Audit has been completed by Pugh and Company.

Outdoor Resorts of America VS. Utility Management Review Board case set for May 7th at 9 a.m. in the Sevier County Chancery Court.  Outdoor Resorts of America has made a motion to overturn the Comptroller of the State of Tennessee and the Utility Management Review Boards findings.

Mr. Jim Gass had told Mr. Vick that Bent Creek Golf Village hasn’t finalized their part of the case.  They are considering getting an outside engineer to evaluate the information they received from Mr. Garry McGill.

Mr. Vick had no official report.

Mr. Conner had no official report.

Mr. Ball stated he is very proud of Ms. Carver and their staff for their achievements, the Board of Commissioners concurred.
