Rate Study Objectives:

• Evaluate revenue sufficiency and cost equity of existing rate structure
• Make water and sewer rates self sufficient
• Base rates on cost of service and revenue stability and sufficiency
• Identify opportunities for rate fairness and equity
• Implement cost justified rates that fully support  system operations, maintenance, repairs, replacements, upgrades and expansions.

New Sewer Rates

Beginning January 2010 the sewer rates will increase as follows:

3000 gal. minimum         $45.54                   $59.41

Overage per 1000 gal.        2.63                       8.84

Water rates will remain the same
